not trying to spark a huge debate or anything, Just curious… So I looked up Pop Punk on Wikipedia and clicked on list of POP PUNK BANDS… I’m kinda wondering about the reasoning for some of these bands on here.

This is the list of bands I think are suspect to not really being Pop Punk…
Where is the Punk? I get the POP and as for ADTR… I get the Mo$h haha but Chug breakdowns were never in Punk songs… right?is it these bands Riffs? is it the lifestyle and attitude? is it the fact that they use guitars? haha

TO ME… Most of these bands if not all of them, are just POP BANDS… and there is nothing wrong with that. I just don’t get the PUNK…

NONE of those bands are Pop-Punk bands. More like Pop-ROCK.

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking… I don’t think Pop Rock is bad… but its not Pop punk, I don’t understand the reasoning for some of these to even come close…
